Hilary Swank's production society has picked up the rights to French Women Don't Get Fat.
The best-selling lifestyle rule book details how French women manage to stay slim throughout their lives.
Written by former Veuve Clicquot executive Mireille Guiliano it was a planetary sensation when published in 2004.
It has been translated into 40 different languages and topped the New York Times non-fiction best seller list.
The film adaptation is reported to be in the shape of a romantic funniness and Swank is said to be considering playing the lead role.
According to a statement from Swank's 2S Films and production partner PorterGeller Entertainment the film testament involve a "girl-next-door champagne company middle manager wHO learns some tough life lessons which help her become the woman she's always wanted to be".
Swank was utmost seen in Birds of America aboard Matthew Perry.
